Barbara has been a docent of the Palm Springs Art Museum for 16 years and is also a Trustee, serving on the Executive Committee. She is past president of the Museum Associates Council and has acted as chair for key Museum fundraising events.

In addition, Barbara is a member of the Board of Trustees of Jewish Family Services of the Desert, which provides social service needs to people of all ages, incomes, and lifestyles. She served as Honorary Chair of One Night Only in 2008, 2009 and 2010.

Barbara zealously supports the Anti-Defamation League and the Jewish Federation, among other worthy charities, and has also served on the Board of Trustees of the McCallum Theatre.

Delighted to be asked to co-chair the 2009 and 2010 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards galas, Barbara is vigorously at work on the 2011 event, again with her inimitable co-chair Jim Casey and team.
