VIP reception builds anticipation for 2010 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards
(PALM SPRINGS, CA – February 19, 2010)
One of the most anticipated events of the Palm Springs social season is almost upon us and this year’s Steve Chase gala will be even more fabulous with a VIP Cocktail Reception the night before at the stunning estate of Liane and Richard Weintraub in Rancho Mirage.
From 6:00 – 8:00 PM on February 26, the 300 invitation-only guests will enjoy the eight bedroom 10,000-square-foot home which is situated perfectly on the estate to take maximum advantage of its gorgeous backdrop of the San Jacinto Mountains. Guests will include donors and sponsors of the Steve Chase Awards and Desert AIDS Project, as well hosts Richard Chamberlain and Stefanie Powers.
The Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards, sponsored by Integrated Wealth Management, honors both national and local leaders, as well as other celebrities dedicated to the mission of fighting HIV and AIDS. This year’s honorees include Bob Mackie, Ann-Margret, the CAEAR Coalition, Steve Kaufer and Scott Van Dyke, and Mary Cone. The night also promises to be a musical spectacular, featuring entertainment by Linda Eder, Jennifer Holliday, and Roslyn Kind.
