Food, cocktails, art, music, and psychic delights – all for only $25 benefiting D.A.P.
(PALM SPRINGS, CA – June 25, 2009)
Don’t say there’s nothing fun to do this summer.
Instead, bring your friends – and meet some new ones – to the 2nd Annual Mid Summer Multi-Mixer benefiting Desert AIDS Project on Saturday, August 8, 2009 from 7:00 to 10:00 PM at the new 5,000 square-foot Crystal Fantasy location at 266-268 N. Palm Canyon Drive in downtown Palm Springs.
“We’ve experienced some hard budget cuts this year and small fundraisers like this become our lifeblood, especially in the summer,” says D.A.P. Executive Director David Brinkman. “The best part is that it only costs $25 – less than what a lot of people spend for a night out for dinner!”
Hosted by well-known community figures Kimberly Nichols and Scott Hines, the mixer will feature a live DJ, great taste treats from the Hyatt, hosted bar by Leslie Barclay, and special guests, including a Master Astrologer, Psychics and Angel Readers. Rick Pantele from IncredibleArtist.com will install a special show for the evening. Free valet parking will be offered, as well as parking in the Hyatt lot right across the street.
Brinkman continued, “We’ve been very fortunate in the support of the downtown business community who have come together to support our cause. Crystal Fantasy has generously offered their expansive new digs and the Hyatt is donating a delicious menu. I’m thinking this ‘feel good’ party might be just what we all need to refresh our auras for the rest of the summer!” Event sponsors include Hyatt Regency Suites, Regency Caterers by Hyatt, The Bottom Line, The Public Record, Leslie Barclay, Stephen Boyd Graphic Design, and TouchPointe Home Care Network.
Last year’s Mid Summer Multi-Mixer drew more than 350 attendees. So, get your tickets now for only $25 each, available online here or by calling 760-323-2118.
