Dine Out – Fight AIDS
(PALM SPRINGS, CA – April 17, 2009)
WHAT: Dining Out for Life, a fundraiser benefiting the clients of Desert AIDS Project
WHERE: Participating restaurants in Palm Springs, Rancho Mirage, and Palm Desert
WHEN: Lunch or dinner on Thursday, April 30, 2009
For the fourth consecutive year, Dining Out for Life – that day when making a donation to Desert AIDS Project is as easy as having lunch or dinner at a participating restaurant – returns to the desert cities.
Ambassadors “adopt” a restaurant of their choice and invite friends and colleagues to join them for lunch and/or dinner on Thursday, April 30. Everyone who is “Dining Out for Life” on that day will have the opportunity to win two tickets to both the 2010 Steve Chase Humanitarian Awards gala and the Les Dames du Soleil 2009 Mother’s Day show at the Riviera – a combined value of almost $1,000!! One lucky runner-up in the drawing will receive flowers each month for a year, compliments of PS Flower Mart.
Anyone interested in being an Ambassador can visit DiningOutForLife.com/palmsprings and click the Volunteer link. The website will also tell them which restaurants are participating, the percent they are donating to D.A.P., and which meals will be eligible for that donation on April 30.
