Women with HIV encouraged to meet at D.A.P.
(PALM SPRINGS, CA – January 9, 2009)
Whether newly-diagnosed as HIV-positive, living for years with the AIDS virus, or just seeking more information, women are encouraged to attend the “Positive Women Luncheon” on Friday, January 30 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at Desert AIDS Project, 1695 N. Sunrise Way in Palm Springs.
Sponsored by Roche, Linda Kolden, RN will present an overview of the particular concerns for women dealing with HIV/AIDS and explain options available for treatment and other services. If there is sufficient interest from attendees, “Positive Women” could become a regular support group for sharing and socializing.
