“Gay and Gray” kicks off free program series at D.A.P.
(PALM SPRINGS, CA – March 20, 2008)
A four-part program series, aimed at the issues faced by older gay men, begins Saturday, April 5 at Desert AIDS Project, 1695 N. Sunrise Way in Palm Springs. This first program will be moderated by Paul Froman, PhD who will provide attendees with tools they can use for healthier aging with a better self-image.
A continental breakfast will be offered at 9:30 AM, followed by the presentation from 10:30 AM until noon. Space will be limited, so attendees should RSVP to Rob Swortfiguer by April 1 at 323-2118, ext. 271.
Desert AIDS Project is the organization in our community where people living with HIV and AIDS can receive comprehensive support, including medical care, case management, and social services. D.A.P. also offers confidential HIV testing at a number of locations and widespread education and prevention services for schools, civic organizations, businesses, churches, and health organizations throughout the communities it serves.
